Steel holds its shape across decades and doesn't sag or warp under the weight of a full collection the way particle board or pressed wood does. Powder-coated finish is durable enough to shrug off daily use.

No. Records sit perfectly upright with enough side support that they don't lean — the correct archival way to store vinyl. Metal doesn't transfer heat at room temperature, so warping risk from the stand itself is zero. The usual warping culprits are sunlight, radiators, and hot car trunks, not the storage.
