Clock -Casablanca- We pay tribute to the movie one can come back to over and over again. Shot 70 years ago, it is still a masterpiece of acting and storytelling. The font for Casablanca on the face of the clock is copied from the title of the movie. The film was shot by Warner Brothers studio in 1942.
The numbers and the writings are engraved into the wood and then covered by white paint. The face of the clock is then painted black. After black paint dries we cover it with a thin layer of white paint and remove it while the paint is still wet to get the old blackboard effect.
The clock measures (11"8 in diameter, 0.6" thick) 30 cm in diameter, 15 mm thick. One AA battery (not included).
